Northwestern Mutual Selects Jump as Its Enterprise AI Partner

Today we’re excited to share that Northwestern Mutual has selected Jump as its enterprise AI partner.
Northwestern Mutual is making Jump's enterprise suite available to approximately 22,000 financial representatives, advisors and team members across 85 network offices, along with its home office. For one of the world's largest and most highly regarded financial institutions to choose Jump is a powerful validation of what our team has built.
It's also a decision worth understanding. Northwestern Mutual has a nearly 170-year history of building its own technology around its financial professionals. After evaluating how best to expand its AI capabilities, the firm determined that partnering with Jump would deliver greater long-term value than continuing to build internally.
"Jump combines enterprise-grade security and compliance with a deep understanding of financial professionals' workflows and the ability to operate at our scale. Most importantly, its technology reflects our conviction that AI should amplify human expertise and deepen client relationships," said Jonathon Gais, vice president of field enablement at Northwestern Mutual.
What advisors and the home office get
The rollout covers three areas of our enterprise suite:
- AI-powered meeting support. Jump captures and organizes meeting information in real time, so advisors can stop taking notes and stay focused on the client conversation.
- Financial professional intelligence. Actionable insights help advisors identify and respond to client needs, while giving the home office visibility into the practices driving success — so they can be scaled across the field organization.
- Integrated AI workflows. Jump connects with Northwestern Mutual's technology ecosystem, putting AI inside the tools advisors already use.
Together, these turn unstructured conversational data into structured, actionable insight. For the home office, that means a clearer read on client needs, emerging trends and what great client experiences actually look like in practice. For advisors, it means less time documenting and more time listening and advising.
Why this matters
Northwestern Mutual's commitment to an "AI-enabled human advisor" model is one we share. AI should not replace the relationship at the center of financial advice; it should give advisors more room to be present in it.
This partnership adds to Jump's growing presence among enterprise-scale institutions, and it reflects a broader shift we see across the industry: the leading firms are no longer piloting AI at the edges. They're deploying it across entire distribution organizations.
We're looking forward to working alongside Northwestern Mutual to define what's possible when AI and human advice work together at scale.
